We have a huge range of toys geared towards children from four months to eight years.
Whatever stage your kids are at, you’ll find enriching toys from shape sorters, activity tables, baby gyms and musical toys for little ones to train sets, board games, puzzles, puppet theatres and toys for imaginary play and construction for older kids. There's firm favourites such as Fisher Price, Little Tikes, Duplo and Playskool toys, as well as quality handcrafted wooden toys.
Larger toys include trikes, rockers, balance bikes, trolleys, scooters and cars. Take the opportunity to try them out before deciding to make a big purchase for your child.
Cargo Bikes
Thanks to the City of Port Phillip, we have two cargo bikes available for members to hire. They can go everywhere — shopping trips, drop-offs to kinder or rides along the beach. Toy library members can book the cargo bikes for two weeks at a time. Hire cost is $10.

Make a Toy Donation
Our toys come from many sources including local toy shops, educational suppliers, markets, garage sales and op-shops. Donations from members and non-members are always much appreciated!
We gratefully accept quality toys, puzzles and games in playable condition. Some toys aren't suitable for a toy library, such as soft toys, toys whose play function is solely powered by batteries (like radio-controlled helicopters) and single-use toys such as tiara-making kits. You may consider donating these to an op-shop or recycling them.
Games, puzzles and toys that aren't complete may still be very useful to us as spare parts. If you are thinking about donating toys, please get in touch.
