Becoming a Member
Anyone is welcome to join the Elwood Toy Library. There are lots of good reasons to join: saving money, saving space, and avoiding sending unwanted toys to landfill. It’s a guilt-free way to update your toys, and it’s a nice place to meet other local families too. You can borrow toys for up to three weeks at a time.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP RATES
Members pay an annual fee. The rates are based on the number of toys you can borrow at a time:
6 toys, puzzles or games - $100/$30 concession
12 toys, puzzles or games - $110/$35 concession
18 toys, puzzles or games - $120/$40 concession
* Concession rate is available to Health Care Card holders.
Become Part of Our Community
Roster Participation
Members are required to sign up on the roster for three toy library sessions per year to help our paid coordinator. In addition to keeping the toy library running smoothly, your participation in these shifts helps you learn more about what’s available at the library. Plus, it’s a chance to meet other local parents!
Gift memberships
Birthday coming up? Want to avoid all the presents? Suggest a gift membership to family and friends, or purchase a gift membership for someone you know. $35 gift vouchers are available, either for a three month trial membership, or to put towards an annual membership to the toy library.
